FOLLOWING a sold-out 2015 autumn tour Josh Widdicombe, the guy from the TV comedy shows with the curly hair, has announced more dates to his upcoming summer tour with stops in Bracknell and Reading.

Josh will stop off in Berkshire on his travels around the UK with his show ‘What Do I Do Now’ after months away from the stand-up circuit.

Since he was last on tour, Josh’s Channel 4 show The Last Leg has gone from strength to strength and been nominated for various awards including a British Comedy Award and a Broadcast Award.

But Josh is relishing the thought of being back live on stage.

“I love stand-up,” he said. “I think of myself as a stand-up. It’s not like a proper job, but it’s what I do. Other things just happen to me, and they have all come out of my stand-up. It’s good to remind myself why I ended up getting my own sitcom.”

Josh adds that he loves the whole process of touring and said: “I really like the lifestyle, and I really like travelling around the UK. It’s a very pleasant way to see the country.

“It’s also quite a meditative way to spend your time. You think, ‘This is going to happen’. So you just sit there and chat because you can’t do anything else. It’s actually very stress-free.”

Josh will perform at South Hill Park Arts Centre on Tuesday, August 30 and The Hexagon in Reading on Tuesday, September 22.
