Wickedly erotic, the art of burlesque is taken to the next, spine-tingling level at the adult only 50 Shades of Burlesque due to arrive at The Hexagon on Saturday, October 3.
The fantasy world of burlesque – elegance, classic beauty, couture costumes, exotic themes all set to an oh so steamy score – has been revelling in a sizzling renaissance.
Now Vaudeville gets volatile. Relish the chance to see burlesque all-stars as never seen before – in the hottest, most provocative extravaganza ever to grace the stage. If you dare to see that.
If you are after something a little less risque then Hairspray is at The Hexagon from Wednesday, September 23 to Saturday, 26.
ROS present an amateur production of Hairspray by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.
It is 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland and the quirky teenager Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart has only one passion – dancing.
Tracy seems a natural fit for the show except for one not-so-little problem – she does not fit in. Her plus size figure has always set her apart from the cool crowd, which she is reminded of by her loving but overly protective plus-sized mother, Edna.
That doesn’t stop Tracy because if there is one thing that this girl knows it is that she was born to dance.
Tickets for Hairspray which is on from September 23-26 cost £22.
For 50 shades of Burlesque tickets cost £24.
