Since it's launch in 2006, the Peugeot 207 has become one of Britain's best-selling cars - shifting over 167,000 vehicles in the UK alone.

But, despite this, Peugeot have decided to give the car a spruce up in the hope that in these difficult times the 207 will continue to be the super-mini of choice for many motorists.

The biggest changes to the car will be cosmetic - with the front undergoing a complete redesign to give it a softer look, and the amount of chrome detailing on the exterior is increasing too.

The interior has also undergone a number of changes with new trims and detailing. In addition to this, the instrument panels have undergone a face lift so that they look more modern and visually appealing.

In a bid to make driving the car more comfortable, the firm have also introduced a raft of new features - including a USB port with Bluetooth connectivity, one-touch direction indicator function and remote controlled window closure.

Under the bonnet, the improvements continue with Peugeot's technicians fitting manual models with a gear change indicator to encourage drivers to drive more economically. Also, a new set of engines that are Euro5 emission standard compliant are being rolled out over the next few months.

These changes will be rolled out across the entire 207 range next month, including the 207 hatchback, 207 SW and the 207 CC.
